Halloween is by far the best holiday for expressing my creativity. Growing up, having a store bought costume was not an option. I have continued with the tradition of coming up with an idea and building it from scratch. The Queen of Hearts and Flying Monkey costumes were a blast to create and some of my best work.
The Marge headpiece is made of quilt batting, poster board, foam, glue and spray paint. The wrestler muscle suit was padded, hand painted and sewn to create this buff look. In addition, the boots, and weight belt were also made from scratch (the wrestler is a little girl).
The next time you go to a Halloween, Cosplay, or themed party why not come home with a prize? I always do.
